We spent two months exploring the kitchens at Petrus and collaborating with chef Neil Snowball on his new direction for the restaurant. At the end of this time it turned out that Gordon Ramsay was celebrating 25 years in the kitchen so they arranged a special event at Petrus restaurant. Gordon would be in the kitchen with Neil and Claire Smyth, hosting an evening all dedicated to the famous Bordeaux wine.
Neil and head sommelier Alex Gilbert-Petz broke down the taste profile of Petrus and re-engineered a lamb dish to complement the taste profile perfectly. The evening went splendidly and we hope that you enjoy this little film that was made as an ode to an iconic wine, hosted by a world renown chef talking about his passion for cooking and his support for his new head chef.
